BORDER PATROL
This was posted on the Glenn Beck boards . . .

"I wore my new Border Patrol T-shirt to Lowes & Home Depot early this morning. First at Home Depot I went down by the contractor area where all the "Day Workers" gather to get taken to job sights. When one of the "Day Workers" noticed my shirt I was reminded of roaches running for cover when you turn on a light in the kitchen of a cheap apartment. It took less than 30 seconds before I was standing all alone.

While I was standing there one of the contractors came around the corner of the building and said "Where did everybody?" That is all he got out before he saw my shirt. He looked at my shirt for about 2 seconds and turned around and left. As he left I heard a long string of rather artistic cuss words. I was happy that I had made his day.

Next I went across the street to Lowes. Strangely enough I couldn't find any "Day Workers" at the Lowes contractor area. The contractor I saw at Home Depot was there. After a few minutes of giving me dirty looks he came over and said “Are you trying to put me out of business?".

I said "No, I was just looking for some lumber for a project I am doing at home, but if it stops an illegal from working in my town for even a few hours I'll try to wear this shirt down here every chance I get".

He then said "I thought you guys only worked on the border".

I just laughed and said "READ the shirt". I don't know or care if he ever figured it out. All I do know for sure is it was the most fun this NATIVE TEXAN (and proud of it) ever had shopping for lumber. I'm going to a different Home Depot & Lowes tomorrow.

If you have one of the Glenn Beck Border Patrol T-shirts, be sure to wear it every time you go to your local Home Improvement Center. Make sure you walk by the contractor’s area. If can do it before 8 A.M. you get better results."

The shirt reads "To Protect and Serve Time" at the bottom. Extra points if you can tell me what that refers to in the comments section . . . .

I know what "To Protect and Serve Time" means! But as your wife, I'm probably not eligible to win a prize! :(
