oh no... how dare we not read newspapers. if people are going to turn to the internet and television for information, then the newspapers don't really have any kind of role to play. they use so much paper and they don't really tell us much of anything anyway.
I say let things take their natural course - newspapers are becoming obsolete. The internet is so much faster & more up to date. Government needs to get out of the way of business & let things happen as they naturally do! For the love.

That's the "help out" part, right? Saying that they can't do that, but really making them endorse one side over the other?
Newspapers are as much a business as anything else. I wouldn't lament our local newspaper failing.
