You find the best stuff Troy. I love it! Poor people, in over their heads with that $750,000+ mortgage. Should've settled for the 3 car garage instead of the 5, and maybe not bought that yacht. Seriously.
Troy. I need your help. Come with me. I want to go knock on the doors of people who have Obama signs out on their lawns, in the old ward, Crockett Ward. On a bus ride today, we passed some of my old neighbors and there were these signs. I was shocked! I want to go up to them and say, what exactly does he plan to do.
And do you know his voting record and what he has voted for while he has been in D.C.?
And say, tell me why you like him? I just don' get it. I am creeped out.

how is the bailout plan supposed to help us? i think it would cause prices for everything to rise instead of back down!
No, its creepy to me because these are smart professor types. They ARE professors. And smart? I guess not. Thats creepy.
Elicia I think its like this. IF the bailout doesn't happen, LOTS of people loose their jobs. Then because they are not working, we have more people on welfare and food stamps, and medical assistance (medicaid). So because of all the hardship, the government pays out a Zillion dollars in welfare. But if the government spends that Zillion dollars on the bailout instead, at least the government owns property and companies (called assets) with that money. Helping with the property and companies, means jobs will be saved. Later, after the recovery is over, and the prices are back up for houses, etc, then the government sells the assets and makes back part of the Zillion it spent. Is that correct, everybody?
More like the government pokes it's head into private business & makes some really bad laws for political reasons. Businesses get greedy and loan money to people that really shouldn't be getting a loan. People are unable to keep up with the loans, businesses start to see falling revenue.
All the while the oversight committee, with people such as Dodd, Rangel, and Schumer claim nothing is wrong. (see my previous video posted)
Government bails out the companies that were stupid enough to take the terrible risks, and the tax payer, already overburdened with taxes gets to pay - REWARD - the companies for their stupidity.
The government should NOT own any public businesses. They've already been trying to take over the health industry (hillary care), and they'd love to take over energy companies.

if the government took over the health care system, would that mean that i'd actually be able to afford to take better care of myself? I'm already forking over $100 for jeff to spend 2 minutes with his doctor to say "yes, i'm on my meds, no, i haven't had side effects" and he leaves. Why is that worth $100?
whew! almost went into a really long rant! i hate health care.
I don't want socialism!! Whew, that was close! Oh, wait, its not up to me to vote one way or the other. Good Grief! Guess, I better pay more attention. The only vote I do have is coming up soon.
Does anyone know where I can get a T-shirt that says vote for McCain? I will wear it every day.

It's Troy - capitilism works, if the government can stay out of the way! Things will fix themselves, and yes - it will be hard. But shouldn't people/business's have to pay the consequences for their stupidity?
Dianna - trust me, you don't want universal healthcare - it's worth paying for quality care. Why do you think the rest of the world comes to the U.S. for serious medical procedures? Because our doctors are good! They have to be, or else they will be out of work. We are the consumers, thank goodness.

Dianna, ask your Carter grandparents about socialized health care in Canada. Or just remember the last time you had to go to the DMV. We do not want the government in charge of any of that!

i was thinking about voting, but i'm beginning to not see any reason. apparently, every side sucks. so who cares?
